Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a little update.
I started my blog, Shiloh Stories, in November 2023 to share stories of my family and others who have called this small community around Shiloh Methodist Church home over the years. I’ve worked hard on it, putting a lot of time, effort, and heart into every post.
After my last post in March, writing felt like something I had to do instead of something I wanted to do. Part of that came from feeling discouraged. After all these months, Shiloh Stories still has zero followers. Seeing that number hurts, but I am not gonna let it bring me down.
After four months, I'm ready to start writing again. I hope to share new posts this August. Thank you to the few people who read and comment on my blog posts. It means a lot!
This is not the end for Shiloh Stories. <3
I won’t quit. I won’t give up. I write to remember, and I write to preserve. I write so the next generation will know the stories of our family.
I will write again. The spark will return.
